How to setup and run an audit scan in Predictive Plugin?

Please follow the steps below to configure and initiate an audit scan using the Predictive Plugin within your WordPress environment.

Step 1: Install the Predictive Plugin

You can install the plugin in two ways:

Option 1: Install from WordPress Dashboard

  • Log in to your WordPress admin.
  • Go to Plugins > Add New.

       

         3. In the search bar, type "Predictive WordPress Plugin".

       

        4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Option 2: Upload the Plugin Manually

  • Download the .zip file from our official website.
  • Log in to your WordPress admin.
  • Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  • Upload the .zip file, click Install Now, then Activate.

Note: You’ll need an active Predictive subscription to use the plugin.

 

Step 2: Validate Your Predictive Subscription & Set Up API Key

1. Check Your Subscription

  • Go to predictive.tisalabs.com.
  • Log in (or sign up if you're new).
  • Visit Settings > Billing & Subscriptions to check if your plan (e.g., Enterprise Edition) is active.

 

   

       4. If you don't have a valid subscription, please buy or contact Us .

2. Get Your API Key

  • In WordPress, go to Predictive Sec > Configuration.
  • Click the blue Predictive link to go to the Predictive Platform.
  • Log in with the same account.

 

     

        4. Go to Settings > API Keys, then click + Add API K

 

   

       5. Fill in:

    • A name for your key.
    • Check both Audit and Alert.
    • Click Add.

       6. Copy the new API key.

3. Authorize Your Website

  • Back in WordPress, go to Predictive Sec > Configuration.

 

       

        2. Paste your API key into the field.

 

     

        3. Click Activate.

 

   

      4.Make sure:

    • Verification Status shows Verified.
    • Connection Status shows Connected in green.

 

 

Once all setup for Step2 , then move to Step3.

 

Step 3: Run an Audit Scan

Go to Predictive Sec > Audit in your WordPress dashboard.

 

   

    2. Click Start Audit to begin scanning your site.

    • The button will be disabled while scanning.
    • You’ll see the status change to Running, along with a timestamp.

After the Scan:

  • When finished, the status changes to Completed.
  • A full audit report will appear.

 

 

You can download the report for a detailed review of any security issues found.
